OVERVIEW

The Clover indicates a lucky turn of events. We’re in for some very good fortune and a positive outcome is assured. The Clover tends to trump any negativity, so no matter how challenging the circumstances or the cards nearby, the Clover is able to overturn them with its great luck. Problems are resolved as if by magic, and for the good of all involved.

IN THE PORTRAIT & GRAND TABLEAU

On the first and central cards of the nine-card portrait, the Clover is sure to deliver a positive outcome to the query. However, in my experience it can be a little tricky, because, while it brings much positivity, it may not be in direct response to the query or what we (or the querant) have in mind. Sometimes our good is not what we think it is, and our hopes may not be fulfilled in the way we initially thought. But if that happens, we can be sure that something better is in store for us. So the Clover also asks us to think about what is truly in our highest good – not just what we think we want.

When near the significator, the Clover brings great luck and protection and for an extended period of time. Any problems are easily resolved. When far, we may not have as much luck, but the Clover remains positive and capable of overturning nearby challenging cards. Many authors read the far Clover as bad luck, but I’m not one to interpret it in this way as there are many other cards that can contribute negativity to a reading.

ADVICE

The Clover asks us to think positively and oust any negativity from our thoughts and spirit. We must trust that our highest good is unfolding in the perfect time and space. Optimism and gratitude are key with the Clover; it opens doors and allows the good to come in. We must seize opportunities. We might have to tolerate some risk, but we must embrace positive change that’s in alignment with our highest good.
